Virtual Health Care- Physician, NP & RN E-Visits

Requesting a consultation with Valley Healthcare is easy.

First, Create an Account…

Click the "Book an Appointment" button. Select what service you are looking for. If you are a new client, you will need to create an account through our secure website. Your information will be stored in the database for future appointments. Simply complete our “first-time visit” intake form and enter your payment information. We will also request consent to access your Provincial EMR if needed. You will then be prompted to log into your account.

For Returning Users:

If you are a returning user, you will be prompted to log into your account after selecting the “Book an Appointment” button. Select what service that you are looking for from the drop down menu. You will need to complete a brief form and describe your symptoms. You will be prompted to select an appointment time (subject to provider availability). An Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will contact you at your scheduled appointment time. If your request can not be handled virtually, he/she will advise you to see a family doctor, walk-in clinic or emergency department at this time.


Get advice, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up with Valley Healthcare

At your scheduled appointment time, you will be contacted by your health care provider via text, phone, on our virtual platform. The healthcare provider may request audio or video if it will help with your diagnosis. You'll receive any prescriptions or sick notes digitally in the app. Prescriptions are automatically faxed to your pharmacy. You can also choose delivery to your address via our pharmacy partner (The Medicine Shoppe).

What illnesses can online healthcare providers treat?

Valley Health doctors and nurse practitioners can treat many conditions online including: UTIs, cold & flu, eye infections, sexual health issues including ED, vomiting, diarrhea, skin issues, depression & anxiety, etc. Online health care providers can also provide prescription renewals, order tests & consults and more.

What illnesses can online healthcare providers not treat?

Virtual health is a tool that can be used to fill the gap in healthcare. Although many illnesses can be treated virtually, it is not a replacement for in-person health assessments. If you have complex health problems, we may suggest that you see a family physician, a walk-in clinic, an emergency department or a consult a specialist. We are not able to provide prescriptions for controlled medications online.

Is there a charge?

Virtual visits are covered by Medicare in NB. Requests for services that are not covered may be subject to a charge. Out-of-Province/International residents may also be required to pay a fee.

Do online doctors accept insurance?

Our online medical consultations and memberships are covered under many existing private healthcare plans including healthcare spending accounts. Check with your insurance provider to find out more.

Through Valley Healthcare, you can speak with doctors via text or video, receive diagnosis, treatment, and follow up. Prescriptions can be sent to the pharmacy of your choice or delivered to your door.
